An intimate island culinary sanctuary rooted in seasonal flora, wild coastal harvest, and wood fire.
At Nigardsøya, menus are guided entirely by daily harvests and the turning of the tides. We work in close concert with local divers, small-scale coastal foragers, and our own island garden to present unhurried dishes stripped of artificial complication.
Dining here is deliberate. We invite guests to slow down, share simple preparations shaped by fire, and linger over low-intervention wines as evening falls over the shoreline.
An eight-course progression celebrating coastal flora, day-boat catches, and cultured preserves. Served in our main dining room overlooking the water.
Dedicated culinary hostings for intimate gatherings up to twelve guests, tailored around rare ingredients and wood-fired communal dishes.
Daytime workshops exploring open-fire cookery, wild preservation, and fermentation alongside our culinary kitchen team.
Thoughtful pairings drawn from artisanal European natural winemakers, complemented by house-distilled herbal infusions.
